The Bible tells us to work out our own Salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2 verse 12:
To work out our salvation with reverence and awe, our body, soul, and spirit must be God-conscious1 Living under the Grace of God will help us to live in God-consciousness because the Grace of God is Christ Jesus Himself.
Having God-consciousness is different from being sin-conscious. As followers we must not have sin-cnosciousness because Our Lord and Our Friend has redeemed us from the law of sin and death. Sin-consciousness focuses on self, that is, being self-centered, focusing on I {me}.
Galatians 2 verse 20: “and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, i live by Faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me”,
This is a wonderful statement to reflect on, becoming more God-conscious, reflect on it today.
God Bless.
