Did you know everything in life, can be an adventure, that is if you treat that way.
When we get up in the morning, what is our first response is it, ‘Good Lord Morning’, or ‘Good Morning Lord. Take this last response further, this what our response should be: Good Morning Lord, what can we achieve for you, with your help today. The news days adventure begins.
Last Sunday, I got out of bed as usual, and said good morning Lord, what are we going to do today, like i generally do. For my part I though it would be a usual Sunday, and then I would go to work on Sunday night. Well I did go to work, then my adventure with Our Lord and Our Friend took me to a hospital bed, later that night.
Psalm 46 verses 1 to 2:
V1: “God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble”.
V2: “Therefore we will not be afraid, through the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas”.
Now skip down to Verse 7: “The Lord of Hosts is with us”;
Knowing that there in the hospital bed where I found myself, My Lord and my Friend was with me, this was to be my next adventure in Him.
I don’t know if the people who I met in hospital, thought they were fortunate or unfortunate, but they got to hear about my faith in My God. Some people were eager to hear. some people turned up their noises, but if they were going to be apart of my 3 days adventure, they were going to hear about the Faith and Hope I have.
Never be overbearing, it is not a good witness, but leave an impression not about oneself, but about how good Our Lord and Our Friend is to us, and How much He loves us.
Our Lord and Our Friend is the author of our adventures in Him, never let yourself forget this point. Matthew 5 verse 13:
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt should lose it’s taste, how can it be made salty? It’s no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled on by men.”
Try it today, start each day as an adventure with Our Lord and Our Friend, He will always be with you, and remember: “God is our refuge and our strength.”
My hospital adventure is still continuing, because I am still being treated for my ailment, I Know in myself I am healed, but until the evidence of the healing is made evident, I will have the pleasure of meeting more people, I would have, had no chance to meet, unless I was on this adventure with My Lord and my Friend.
Treat everything we do as an adventure for Him, He will never let you down.
God Bless.
