From The Heart

The Father is seeking worshipers

John 4:23 to 24 Jesus says “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth”

Romans 12:1 says

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship”. KJV says “reasonable service of worship’ NLT says ‘this is truly the way to worship Him’

The Father is worthy of our worship. He gave His only begotten Son and Jesus our Lord and Friend, gave Himself willing for us, so that we can be restored to fellowship with the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus gave His all.

And now the Father is seeking those of us who are willing to give our all, presenting our bodies and all we are, to Him as an act of worship. And as we do this, bringing our all – our soul, that is our mind will and emotions, into agreement with our spirit, where Holy Spirit dwells and He leads us in worship to the Father and our Lord Jesus, we find that there is ‘fullness of joy in His Presence’.

The Father seeks worshipers and its to our advantage. His desire is to draw us to Himself, closer and closer, that He might reveal what is His good, and acceptable and perfect will for our lives. He has the blueprint of all the good works He has prepared for us to walk in. Individually He fashions our hearts, according to His will and purpose. And He then energizes us to perform His will.

As we draw near to Him in worship and praise, we get to know Him. His character and personality are shown to us and we get to know His ways.

What an amazing privilege to be called into this personal walk with God Almighty. Let us seek to worship Him in spirit and truth (reality). And Holy Spirit is our Helper and Teacher on our journey.

God bless
