Faith In Action ‘Such a Time As This’

In western society these days, as Christians, we find ourselves increasingly moving from the center of our culture. Too a lot of Christians, they would find this ultimately disturbing, but this new status in society can become a revelation to us all.

The New Testament is a collection of missionary documents written for and to a missionary climate. It was written by Christians inspired by the Holy Spirit, living on the edges of their culture.

We are the Body of Christ, called together as lively stones, called to display the majesty and goodness of His reign to the world. The Bride of Christ, empowered by the presence of The Holy Spirit in our lives.

We get caught in so called Churchi-anity, and it is not about where we meet, how often we meet, nor even what we do whenever we meet.. Church is about who we are as Kingdom people, living distinctively by Grace, through the Holy Spirit, with Christ Jesus as Our King of Kings, bringing glory to The Father. It is about living in the Realm Of The Spirit, and living our faith as supernaturally natural people.

In the early church, people were added daily, as the believer lived their faith and others wanted to live, way of living they had.

In today’s society the glittering light of the world, appear more attractive than living the Churchianity type of life, but we are not meant to live that style of life. We are to be a people lead by The Spirit of God, meeting the needs and uplifting people wherever we go.

The world can have it glittering life , but that life style doesn’t have the real life giving Spirit, that truly walking with Our Lord and Our friend brings.

Galatians 2 verse 20: “And I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life i now live in the flesh, I live by faith in The Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me”.

God Bless.
