Scripture Verse Of The Week ‘Psalm 61 verse 2’

Psalm 61 verse 2: “I call to You from the ends of the earth when my heart is without strength. Lead me to a rock that is high above me”.

It might not sound the good place to be, in a place that appears to be distance, and when you are feeling down and weak.

Most people have that concept of God, we need to cry out to Him, but when we ask Him to come into our lives, He is always near. Our Lord and Our Friend, knows there are times when we are more fragile, and it is something we should not feel guilty to confess.

Crying out for help is not a weakness, is a good thing, admitting we can’t do it on our own. Matthew 6 verse 8: tells us; Our Father knows the things we need before we ask Him.

Philippians 4 verse 19: “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory in Christ Jesus”.

‘Lead me to a rock that is high above me’. Lord let us see the place, where you see our problems from. it is high above any thoughts about our situation we may have, because You are The Rock.

Just to call out to God is a good thing, but we really have to believe that He not only hears, but He will answer. Hebrews 11 verse 6:

“Now without faith it is impossible to please God. for the one who draws near to Him must believes that He exists and rewards those who seek Him”.

Maybe, if anyone is in a place right now, feeling lonely and distance, and weak with problems or infirmities, don’t just cry out, turn to Him and ask in faith, because He is closer to us, then we may think. He always hears and He will always answer, but maybe in a way we are not expecting.

God Bless.
