Reflective Moment ‘As Far As East Is From West’

Many people would know the scripture, Romans 3 verse 23: “For All have sinned and fall short of The Glory of God”.

Well it can sound and be worse, Romans 6 verse 23: “For the wages of sin is death”.

It is always good to get the bad news over with, because the rest of Romans 6 verse 23 tells us: But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”.

Acceptance of Who Christ Jesus is and what He did for us on the cross, and Repentance that we don’t and can’t measure up to God in our own righteousness.

i Corinthians 15 verse 3: “For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture”.

Romans 10 verse 9: If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”. Saved from the punishment, that comes with sin.

Christ Jesus paid the price for our sins that separated us from Him. And when we confess our sins, He will as Psalm 103 verse 12; tells us:

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgression from us”.

Conviction of sin is a good thing, because if it is acted upon, leads to new life in Christ. Condemnation of sin comes from the accuser of the brethren Satan.

We can remind him, he is defeated and Galatians 5 verse 19 and 20:

“I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in The Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

In Christ we become a New Creation, and through confession, the wrong things we used to do, have been removed from us as far as the east is from the west.

God Bless.
