Comforter Seekers And Not Comfort Seekers

comfort

We should always be seeking, to know more about God, but unfortunately, the comforts of the world, are very easy to settle with.

Matthew 6 verse 33: “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all thee things will be provided for you”.

Looking back at verses 25:

“This is why I tell you; don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing”.

The Comforter, Who is The Holy Spirit, some translation may use counselor for comforter but the original Greek word was ‘Parakletos’ Comforter, {Just for clarification}.

John 14 verse 26 {KJV}: “but The Comforter which is The Holy Spirit, Whom The Father will sent in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you”.

Comforter seekers, help from the comforter seekers, because one of the things Jesus left us with, was His peace. The Comforter will help us enter into that peace, even during tough times.

John 15 verse 26 {KJV}: “But when the comforter is come, Whom I will send to you from The Father, even the Spirit of truth,, which proceeds from The father, He shall testify of Me”.

Seek The Comforter, Who is the Spirit of truth, to allow Him to lead us in all truth. The Comforter is also referred to as Councilor, Helper, Teacher, so why shouldn’t we seek after Him more.

Our Lord and Our Friend has given us New Life in Him, He Has also provide for us, The Holy Spirit, to be our Comforter, Councilor, Helper and teacher, Let at the start of a new year, seek more after Him more, so we can have personal help not to seek The Kingdom of God and His righteousness, but to be better seekers IN The Kingdom of God, for all the things Our Lord and Our Friend wants us to know and have.

God Bless.
