Love – Grace – Fellowship
2 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 14 in New Living Translation says “May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
How wonderful is our God! We know grace was obtained for us at the cross of Calvary, when our Lord and Friend shed His powerful blood, giving His life for us and being raised again to life so we can live in Him when we accept Him into our life. Hebrews 4:14-16 tells us Jesus is our great High Priest who understands our weaknesses and encourages us to come boldly to the throne of our Gracious God, so we can find grace to help us when we need it. Jesus is our advocate before the Father, in Him we find companionship and communication which can satisfy our souls.
Love of the Father God speaks to our identity, our value. Each one of us has a unique place in the heart of the Father. He has a purpose and plan for every person – Psalm 33:15 “He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works”. We find protection and provision in Him. Psalm 91:4 –“He shall cover you with His feathers; and under His wings you shall take refuge”. My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.
Fellowship of Holy Spirit relates to comfort, teaching – leading and guiding. John 14:16 Jesus said “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter; that He may abide with you forever”. He will never leave nor forsake us.
In all the challenges as well as triumphs of this life, He is with us – so we are never alone. What we go through, He goes through with us. Isaiah 43:1-2 “Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”
Beloved, be encouraged today – with grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, deep love of the Father and fellowship and comfort of the Holy Spirit. May you hear His whispers of hope that bring joy to your soul. He has you in the palm of His hand.
