Faith In Action “Authority Over All The Enemy”

Authority Over all the Enemy

We all know the story of David and Goliath. When David went out to fight Goliath, David said 1 Samuel 17 verse 45, 47. “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord.”

A young shepherd, who Saul’s amour was to big for, went out before the giant Goliath, with a sling shot, and great faith in the God that He loved and served

No one in Saul’s army seemed to understand factoring God into the situation, but David talked about nothing else. He saw what they didn’t and refused to be intimidated by the giant of the enemy. David believed the god he served was bigger than any giant he would face.

If we are in a situation where there appears to be no way out, instead of wasting time, instead of Dwelling on our weaknesses and shortcomings , STAND ON God’s Word, and start talking about His almighty power.

We won’t win if we fight in our own strength, so don’t try it. Let’s be like David and say, this is the Lord’s battle {1 Samuel 17 verse 47}

The Battle belongs to the Lord, declare it by faith, and see your circumstances change, before we trust and rely on a God that loves us dearly, and said He would never leave or forsake us.

God Bless.
