Many people in the Bible whom we would consider to be a ‘pillar Of Faith’ had moments of doubt.
to struggle with various doubts about God and His ability to help, beset nearly all people of Faith, if we are to be honest. God doesn’t mind doubt as long as we are seeking answers from Him in the midst of it.To call Him Our Lord and Our Friend, and the most awesome Friend we will ever have, is to seek Him in the times of doubt should be automatic.
Even Abraham when he was called Abram doubted: Genesis 15 verse 8:
Doubt can become sin if it leads us away from God, to hardheartedness, skepticism and even cynicism. Always the answers are in His Word: Psalm 94 verse 19:
“When I am filled with cares, Your comfort bring me joy.”
Message Bible: “When I was upset and beside myself. You calmed me down and cheered me up.”
Doubt comes through many forms, cares overcome us, become upset and not thinking properly.
It is not how much Faith we have or the size of our Faith. It is the size of The One in Whom we believes that matters. The reality of Faith is that we are not limited by our Faith, because we have our faith in A Great and Awesome God that loves us.
All have doubts, all have faith, but what is our faith in. If we have in An Awesome God, our doubts, will never hold us back.
God Bless.
