Walking by faith, in a quote from Charles Spurgeon:
“Whatsoever things a lovely, and pure, and of good report, try and gain them; but remember that all these things put together, without faith, do not please God. Faith fosters every virtue; unbelief withers every virtue in the bud.”
Faith fosters virtue: foster means- to encourage or promote the growth and development of.
Faith encourages and develops, unbelief foster doubt and distress.
“The moment we cease to believe , that moment distress and failure follow.” CS
Faith encourages, Doubt destroys, no wonder scripture tells us;
Hebrews 11 Verse 6: “Now without faith, it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exist and rewards those who seek Him.
His reward is His grace, which is all sufficient for us: 2 Corinthians 12 verse 9:
Grace foster too, encourages and promotes growth and development, to do the things of God.
Walking by faith, is walking in the Grace of God, and being His vessel to a lost world.around us.
Walking by faith and not by sight, bring us to greater trust in Our Lord and Our Friend, dare to believe, dare to trust, and Our Lord and Our Friend will do the rest for us. The Battle belongs to Him
God Bless.
