Things to do places to go, and places made for us when we allow ourselves to be led by The Spirit Of God.

Romans 8 Verse 14: “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons {children} of God.

In this new life we have, through what Our Lord and Our Friend did for us on the cross, we need to be led by the Spirit of God, and the Message Bible puts it well, Romans 8 verse 14:

“God’s Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go”.

Jeremiah 29 verse 11: Tell us God has plans for our lives, when we accept Him. we need to follow His Spirits leading, in the things he wants us to do, and the places He wants us to go.

There is a Greek word ‘monai’ It only appears twice on the whole new Testament. John 14 verse 2: “In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places {homes} ‘monai.

We can be sure in the fact when we die there is a place for us in heaven, if we have accepted the way God makes the offer in John 3 Verse 15.

Jesus uses this word ‘monai’ later in John 14.in verse 23.

“If a person {really} loves Me, he {or she will keep My word—–obey my teaching; and we will come to him {or her} and make Our home ‘monai’ with him or her.”

What a wonderful privilege. and a huge comfort is that not only in the future will our dwelling place be with The Father and The Son in heaven, but also in the here and now. The Father and The Son, through The Spirit make their dwelling place with each of us here on earth, so that we can know our God better.

We become His children, to be lead and comforted by His Spirit, and He will never forsake us.

Should make one want to be led more and more by the Holy Spirit, because ‘God’s Spirit beckons, and there are things to do and places to go.
