More Than Mere Words

People may declare it is just an historic book, but to those that read it, because of there hunger to know more of God, it is a life giving and sustaining living Word.

Jeremiah 29 verse 11: “I know the plans I have for you”.

We are not random chances of existence, we were created by a Loving God with purpose and destiny. Head faith says,’We believe!’ Heart faith says, ‘We believe it is so for us, ‘ then acts on it.

God says, “I know the plans I have for you— plans to prosper you— to give you a hope and a future.’ Our Lord and Our Friend will take every negative thing that happens to us and turn it into  something positive, if we will only work with him and trust Him, He offers us beauty in exchange for ashes.

When Lazarus died, his sister Martha doubted that Jesus could do anything about it, so He told her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would, see the glory of God.” {NKJV}. Well, God is saying the same thing to us! He is asking us to put our trust in Him and believe that we can do whatever He asks us to do.

Knowing the Bible is more than mere words. His Word says, “Let the weak say, I am strong”. Joel 3 verse 10: {NKJV} Let the words coming out of our mouths be changed. When we begin saying with conviction that we are strong, even though we are feeling weak, Our Lord and Our Friend will be strong in you.

Philippians 4 verse 13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Paul knew this principal as more than mere words, and he was practicing this principal. What a wonderful principal to practice in our own lives, knowing with assurance it is more than mere words.

God Bless.
