Lots of Psalm tell us to sing. Psalm 95 verse 1:
“Come. let us shout joyfully to the Lord, shout triumphant to the Rock of our Salvation”.
Some translations use ‘sing unto the Lord’.
Come let us sing, our foundations are secure.
Matthew 7 verse 24: “Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on the rock”.
Come let us sing, for we have assurance.
Hebrews 10 verse 22;
“Let us draw near with a true heart in full ASSURANCE of faith, our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water”.
Come let us sing and boldly approach The Throne of Grace.
Hebrews 4 verse 16:
“therefore let us approach the Throne of Grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find help us at the proper time”.
We have a lot to sing about, just as Barabbas did when he was released, and Jesus died in his place.
Come let us sing, that Jesus not only died in our place, but rose again to give us new life in Him.
Come let us sing.
