Knowing God

Knowing about God is different from knowing God.

Lots of people have knowledge about religion, Christianity and something about the Bible. Head knowledge or intellectual knowledge is not the same, as having a personal knowledge through a personal relationship with Him.

Faith in God doesn’t come through corporate membership, it will involves corporate worship, but we will stand before God as individuals.

Knowing God involves far more than knowing about Him. Information alone doesn’t not produce tangible faith. Faith is more than mere knowledge. Knowledge from education alone doesn’t make someone fit to serve God. Perhaps an educated person can hide behind their learning knowledge in order to avoid dealing with God, in a relationship way.

God so loved that He gave an opportunity, for ‘any whosoever’ to walk in fellowship with Him’. John 3 verse 16;

Knowing God comes from seeking after Him, and seeking after the  things of God. They can’t be found in a text book, but can be found, in deciding to walk in relationship with Our Loving God,

Knowing God like the Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 1 verse 12:

“And that is why I suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, because I Know Whom I believed and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day”.

Knowing God not being ashamed of Him.

Knowing God by living our lives for Him.

Knowing God in such a loving way, it is easy for us to witness for Him, because our life is a witness,

Matthew 5 verse 16: “In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory  to your Father in heaven”.

Knowing that comes from relationship, can’t be taught with the Bible as a text book, comes from having the Living Word, living inside us.

God Bless.
