Sunday Encouragement

encourage

If this is your day for rest you still need encouragement. Be encouraged to day with the words. There is no condemnation, for those in Christ Jesus. We are no longer condemned by sins of our pasts, Sin has lost it power over our lives. It is still possible for us, to sin, but we have help in ! John 1 verse 9;

Romans 8 verse 1

“Therefore, no condemnation now exists for those in Christ Jesus.”

A life changing verse, but to get the full extent of this verse, we must read, Romans 8 verse 2: “Because the Spirit’s law of life in Christ Jesus has set you, free from the laws of sin and of death.”

Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins, because the penalty of sin was separation from God, and the consequences of sin were eternal life without Him.

As we have stated many times Christ Jesus is God, and as God came in the flesh to be one of us, to pay the price of all our sins.

By accepting what Christ Jesus did for us on The Cross, we enter into Him, and under The Spirit’s Law Of Life, free from condemnation of sin.

All of us were enslaved to sin from the moment of our conception. Our only hope is Christ Jesus, who is able to emancipate us from the bondage of sin. Then having redeemed us, He enables us through The Holy Spirit to do what we could not do in and of ourselves, live in obedience to God.

There in lies true freedom.

Let us finish by reading Romans 8 verse 1 and 2 from the Message Bible;

V1 “With the arrival of Jesus, The Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being here for us no longer have to live under a continuous, low lying black cloud.”

V2 “A New power is in operation, The Spirit of Life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.”

Take the steps today, to accept a new life in Christ Jesus and ask Him to be Your Lord. Savor and Friend.

Be blessed and encouraged today and everyday,

From your friends at mylordmyfriend.com
