Reflective Moment ‘Remember The Blessing’

blessings

When circumstances can not change, then it is time to look up and remember the blessings of yesterday and the anticipation of tomorrow.

Psalm 63, provides a good reflection, the Psalm was written under trying circumstances by King David. His son Absalom had revolted against Him. his trusted counselor had betrayed him and the people were forsaking him.

We are sure there are times in all our lives, when things appear to be against us, and we like David would feel loneliness along with self-pity. David turned himself around and turned his thoughts to God, his meditation became a happy song of reflection and remembrance,

Psalm 63 verse 1: God, You are My God; I eagerly seek You. I thirst for You; my body faints for You in a land that is dry, desolate, and without water.”

V2: “So I gaze on You in the Sanctuary to see Your strength and Your Glory”.

V3: “My lips will glorify You because Your faithful love is better than life.”

Circumstances in life may turn against us, but as David found and knew, God faithful love is better than anything else that can be in our lives. God so loved, that He gave The Best He had, so we can have eternal life and new life, through His Son.

Remember The Blessing.

 God Bless.
