Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. They’re all tough reads, but those that make it through often find a remarkable thing. God still has something relevant to say to us through the first five books of the old testament, but just what is God trying to tell us?

The Bible is a Diamond of discovery, many facets of it lead towards the Redemptive Story and Salvation through The Christ {Jesus}. In particular;

GENESIS is the book of beginnings. It tells us of mans success and failure’s under every test and in every condition.

EXODUS is God hastening to the rescue, It tells of His redemptive work (His way for us to be restored to Him despite our failures)

LEVITICUS tells the way to get right. It’s the Book of Atonement- we could not make ourselves right with God, but God puts into place (the Payment – Atonement) for our sins. Christ {Jesus} became Our Sacrifice for all our sins.

NUMBERS We have been {saved} redeemed to serve. Serving becomes a privilege when you look at the amazing plan God has for us.

DEUTERONOMY The book show the blessings and curses for obedience or disobedience. Again God reveals His goodness to those that love Him.
