Why does prayer come in solely as a last resort? Why do we not turn to prayer first, in guidance for what we SHOULD do, before all our ideas fail? I think one of the real challenges faced by the people of God is in we still look to ourselves first, and only to God as a failsafe.
I 100% agree with you. I think it should be the first pillar we turn to. Prayer should be our open dialogue between God and ourselves. Not just when we need him. He does, after all care about every tiny aspect of our lives.
