he Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy was writing from prison, but he penned these words in Chapter 1 verse 11 and 12:
V11: “For this gospel, I was appointed herald apostle, and teacher, and that is why I suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know Whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day”.
No one yearns to be crushed, no one welcomes the pain and pressure of adversity. Crushing is a painful, agonizing process and the scares it leaves behind are real. But only through crushing can God release the full fragrance of His mercy in the life of the man or woman of God.
If you are feeling the heat and pressure of painful circumstances today, then you are in great company. Job did nothing really wrong in the Book of Job, but he was tested and even his friends gave him a hard time, with their thoughts as to why Job was having a hard time.
But Job knew as Paul did and Job could say; Job 19 verse 25 to 27:
V 25: “But I know my living Redeemer, and He will stand on the dust at last”.
V 26: “ Even after my skin has been destroyed, yet I see God in my flesh”.
V 27: “I will see Him myself; my eyes will look at Him, and not as a stranger> My heart longs within me”.
In Hebrews it tells us,{Hebrews 13 verse 5} “For He Himself {Our Lord and Our Friend} has said ‘I will never leave you or forsake you”.
Understanding and knowing God’s greatness nothing can overcome us or defeat us.
God Bless.
