Faith In Action ‘What Others Think’

At no time do we find Jesus hesitating to do something because of what others might think. That is why we find him mixing with people and going places He should not have gone according to religious people of that period. But for those He came across when he crossed these kind of barriers, His attitude was the kindest thing they had ever experienced.

While Jesus was kind and caring towards people, he always knew what people were really like, and he would never excuse their behavior.

Jesus’ insight didn’t lead Him to point-out the failure of people or there wrong doings {sin}. He did that very rarely. He knew that most people realized their failing without being told. He also knew they needed help in overcoming the things that held their lives back from reaching their potential.

Jesus taught people. One of the tasks he engaged in most was to explain the scripture and to raise debate in the issues from scripture.

Jesus teachings are characterized by a number of ways.

He told stories – He never taught without using parables.

He encouraged questions – He was always willing to answer questions raised.

He demanded a response _ He was not about telling itching ears nice theories, He was interested in the practical of changing lives, and bring people to stronger faith.

He made people think – A lot of times Jesus made proactive statements in the stories and did not explain them. He wanted people to think for themselves, about His words and make their own discoveries. {WE can’t live somebodies else faith, we need to find the Truth about Him and what He was saying for ourselves.}

He challenged irrelevant chit chat – He has a message, the message is life changing. Jesus was only about life changing, life giving and giving us all new destinies.

He always walk the talk – Jesus was not just a speaker of words. He lived the Truth he taught. Jesus was showing us the way. {because He was The Way}.

One of the most striking aspects of Jesus, is how he welcomed those that society saw as outcasts, whether spiritual or cultural. Even the most marginalized in society.

Tax Collectors {Luke 5 verse 27 to 32}

Lepers {Mathew 8 verse 1 to 4}

Sinners {Luke & verse 36 to 50} We are all sinners, but these were the people deemed by the religious people of the time to be.

Jesus displayed qualities that were and are so rarely seen.
Jesus made a way. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the Life.”

We are all sinners But once we accept Him we are saved by His grace. New life in Him is available to us, and he is there to help us.

Ask Him what have you got to lose.

Jesus was the Creator who died for His creations to resort to us what is and was lost through wrong doings {sin}. Come and He will give you rest.

Come find out how much He really does love you, call upon Him and He will answer.

God Bless
