The cross is not simply an event of 2000 years ago, it is a spiritual fact now. We are involved, Jesus’ choice of the Cross as God’s way to redeem mankind so we by choice can enjoy eternal relationship with Him.

John 3 Verse 16: “for God so loved the world in this way; He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life”.

The Cross reveals our sin. It reveals  our propensity, the deep-seated condition within us, that causes spiritual death. It makes the message of salvation intelligible

Not only does the cross reveal our sins, but it also reveals God’s love..At the Cross God meets us in love.The cross is not a sign of God’s majesty but an unforgettable reminder of the lengths of which Our Lord and Our Friend will go to bring people to Him. To God be the glory and victory through the cross.

As we focus on Easter, we remember Jesus’ cross, but we do more than remember. The Cross is the most relevant, most contemporary event in life. The Cross is not one philosophy of life among many others, This is the gospel the good news, the God of Majesty and Power stepped down in to darkness, to reconcile all who believe back to relationship with Him.

Salvation is not anything we can do; it is what God has done for us through the cross. God will give this gift of salvation to anyone, who believes, to anyone who puts their trust in the crucified Christ. Trust that death could not hold Him down, He rose again to give life to anyone who believes on Him.
