Sunday Encouragement

encouragement

If this is your day for rest, you still need encouragement. Be encouraged today by this wonderful verse from Proverbs 6 Verse 6:

Proverbs 6 Verse 6:

V6: “Go to the ant, you slacker! Observe its ways and become wise.

Consider the ant, Proverbs 6 verses 7 to 8″

V7: Without leader, administrator, or ruler,

V8; It prepares its provision in summer; it gathers its food during harvest.

The ant does what it was created to do. we were created to live in the Presence of Our loving God. but we have all fallen short.

Romans 3 verse 23; For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God”.

The Bible defines sin as “missing the mark”. Like an arrow missing the target, sin is falling short of the goal that has been set. God’s goal is Christ. The purpose of all of life is to live up to the life of Christ.

When we fail to follow His example, we miss the mark and fall short of the divine standard.

The ant goes about His work diligently, for the whole of the colony of ants depends on it. One lesson we can take from the ant is diligence. Not to miss the mark we have been set to requires diligence.

Diligence to prayer with Our Lord and Our Friend.

Diligence in our work effect, so it can reflect our commitment to Him,

Diligence during the harvest time for the laborers are few. Matthew 9 v 37:

Diligent to our objects, to live the life He has called us to.

Our lives and our work, are like the ants, the ants is for the good of the colony, ours is for the good of The Kingdom of God.

But we don’t have to strive, because it is Him we live and exist, Acts 17 verse 28; and because through Him we obtain it, ‘Not by might, nor by power but by My Spirit, says The Lord.
