THE PEOPLE OF THE STONE
Peter 1 verse 2: We read of the comparison of those who are by God’s power, guarded by faith for salvation, ready to be revealed in the last times. You rejoice though, now, for a little while you may have to suffer various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold, redound to praise and glory and honor, may be tested by fire. Without even seeing him, you love him, though you do not now see him you believe in him and rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy as the outcome of your faith so you obtain salvation of your souls. How can this be? Salvation was being built by unseen faith in rejoicing praise. God was forming a people who believed without seeing their salvation but believing it. Such rejoicing faith filled them at the revelation of the love of Jesus Christ.
Perhaps, in holiness, in truth and trust, he was teaching them, in his way, that the people were learning that they were his ‘projects in progress’, toward power of perfections molded by Jesus in his anointing?
Is that something to ponder on? A time of revealing revelations to instill the love and reconciliation of the cornerstone that was precious and chosen. The awesome deeds of HIM who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Receive his mercy and light.
