GOD’S GIFTING AND GRACE
In I Peter 1 Verse: we are told that the word of the Lord abides for ever, that all flesh is like grass as the flowers fall, (verse 25) but the word will abide forever. Then there is a list as in: ‘put away any malice, guile, insincerity, envy and all slander, long for the spiritual milk, to salvation, for you have tasted the kindness of the Lord. Come to him, to that living stone, rejected by men but in the sight of God. Is that not as written,’ just as precious and chosen’.
Can we apply those words to today’s world? Verses 6 to 8, here we are told of the stone of Zion’s truths, ‘and he who believes in him will not be put to shame but for those who do not believe, the stone that was rejected has become the head of the corner. A stone that will make men stumble, fall and disobey the word, as destined to do so. They are chosen and precious, built to be a spiritual house. To offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Can you relate to the chapters in Peter 1-3? For this you have been called, ‘He that would love life and see good days…let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous ,and his ears are open to their prayers. Get that? HIS EARS ARE OPEN…..to your every prayer!
