Distinctive Life And Ministry

The distinctiveness of Ministry. It is never about us, it is always about Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.

Take for instance the Apostle Paul, unless we understand the distinctiveness of Paul ministry, we will not fully understand or appreciate the message of Grace.

Sometimes called God’s Riches at Christ expense GRACE.

Paul did it for the glory of God not for the glory of himself. Paul was not bragging about his ministry, he was boasting in what the Lord had done. Paul did not serve and suffer as he did just to make a name for himself, for he had a much higher purpose in mind. He wanted to bring glory to Jesus Christ.

Romans 15 verse 17::”Therefore I have reason to boast in Christ Jesus regarding what pertaining to God”.

Verse 18: “For I would not dare say anything except what Christ has accomplished through me….”.

Paul achieved it through God’s Power. Verse 19:

“By the power of miraculous signs and wonders, and by the Power of God’s Spirit. As a result. I have fully proclaimed the good news about the Messiah…”.

The Holy Spirit empowered Paul to minister and enable him to perform mighty signs and wonders. The miracles God gave Paul to do were “signs’ in that they came from God and revealed him to others.

Paul stuck to God’s plan.He had a distinctive ministry: Verse 20:

“My ambition has always been to preach the Good news where the name of Christ Jesus has never been heard”.

Understanding purpose that made Paul ministry so distinctive, are the same for us as they were for Paul

Be distinctive In Our Call.

God Bless.
