Faith In Action ‘Finding Truth’

God’s people are not called to be bigots who flaunt their connections with the truth. Rather, we are called to be loyal to the truth of Christ Jesus. We should challenge people to avoid anything less than what God offers.

Reading from the Book of Jude in the New testament verses: 17 to 23: We are not called to be a truth squad, inflated with our own importance. But neither are we to be fence sitters who agree with anything for the sake of peace. No, we must proclaim God’s truth with mercy, to those lost in a fallen world.

So what God communicated through Christ is extraordinarily important and must not be compromised.

The following is an article written according to legend and seem to be so true, at this time in history …

According to a 19th century legend, the Truth and the Lie meet one day. The Lie says to the Truth: “It’s a marvelous day today!” The Truth looks up to the skies and sighs, for the day was really beautiful. They spend a lot of time together, ultimately arriving at a well. The Lie tells the Truth: “The water is very nice, let’s take a bath together!” The Truth, once again suspicious, tests the water and discovers that it indeed is very nice. They undress and start bathing. Suddenly, the Lie comes out of the water, puts on the Truth’s clothes and runs away. The Truth, furious, comes out of the well and runs everywhere trying to find the Lie and to get her clothes back. The World, seeing the Truth naked, turns its gaze away, with contempt and rage.
Poor Truth returns to the well and disappears forever, hiding therein her shame. The Lie now travels around the world, dressed as the Truth, satisfying the needs of society, because, the World harbors no wish at all to meet the naked Truth.

John 8 verse 32: “You will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free”.

Don’t be fooled, seek out The Truth that Our Lord and Our Friend, freely gives.

God Bless
