Psalm 145 Verse 8: “The Lord is gracious and compassionate slow to anger and rich in love.”
The Lord is rich in love. There is no shortage of love when it comes to God.
We can empty the love of people in our lives, with the way we treat them. But that will never happen with Our Lord and Our Friend. His love and loves and the love keeps coming.
The abundance of Our Lord and Our Friend’s love is never to be taken for granted. People have a view to think that when there is a lot of something, it is less valuable.
Because we hear it so often how wonderful, Our Lord and Our Friend’s love is, we sometimes come too familiar with it. The saying says “Familiarity breads contempt”.
The familiarity can stop it from reaching our hearts at times.
This is not the way God’s love works, It is freely given, to embrace, nurture and instruct us, in all we do in life.
Our Lord and Our Friend’s love is, abundant, infinite and precious. Not something to be take fro granted. It is to be received with all the reassurances it brings.
Our Lord and Our Friend loves everyone, but not necessarily the things that they do, and most of all He loves us dearly, and has great plans for all our lives.Jeremiah 29 verse 11: “I know the plans I have for you’.
God Bless.
