Merry, Happy, Content

friend happy

Merry, Happy, most times they are interchangeable. Psalm 1 verse 1 tells us:

“How happy is the man {or woman} who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path of sinners, or join a group of mockers!”

The ‘Happy’ part is not hard to understand, but the ‘sinners’ part, might need some understanding, after all we are all sinners saved by Grace. But through repentance and acceptance {Salvation} we remain sinners being transformed by His Grace. We might remain sinners, but we have changed our direction, to follow Him. Happy is the man or woman, who has started to follow Our Lord, Our Savior and Our Friend, in the new direction He has for us. Jeremiah 29 verse 11:

We have an excellent reason to be happy, merry, grateful.. So lets come before Him to acknowledge our gratefulness.

V1: Come with happy faces

To the place of Prayer;

Jesus now is waiting,

We shall find Him there.

Chorus: With a grateful spirit,

Now our voices raise;

Thank Him for His goodness

In a song of praise

V2: Come with happy faces—

Jesus rose today;

Leave the world behind us,

Seek the narrow way

V3: Come with happy faces,

Come with hearts sincere

; God our thoughts are reading,

He is ever near.

V4: Come with Happy faces,

Learn the Words of Truth;

Jesus loves the children;

Trust Him in our youth.

We have wonderful reasons to be happy, merry and grateful, and He invites us to come, whenever we have need. Hebrews 4 verse 14 to16:

Hebrews 4 Verse 16: {Message Bible} “Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God— let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all— all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to Him and get what He is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.”

God Bless, Be Happy
