John 3 verse 16:
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life”.
We are separated from God by sin {wrong doings against Him}. There was nothing we could do, or status we could achieve to be even good enough to undo this separation.
But God Himself did something, He gave of Himself. Now there is something we can do. Believe and Repent. Some might put it the other way repent and believe. It doesn’t really matter they both need to be done. Believe in the God, that loves you so dearly, and say sorry {repent} for all your unbelief and for the things in our life God calls sin {wrong doing against Him}. Repentance means a change of mind, from the way we use to think, we change for God like thinking. These wrong-doings may have seemed Ok to do, but they separate us from a Holy God.
The Power Of The Gospel comes through Belief and Repentance, but the journey through these has just begun. The next step is:
Rest and Rejoice:
Rest: In the knowledge, that because of our Belief and Repentance, God has pronounced over us ‘Forgiven’. This verdict will never change because it is grounded solely and forever in Christ Jesus, Our Lord and Our Friend. His death on the cross, His resurrection to new life for us all, and His intercession for us even now before the throne of God The Father.
Rejoice: In the fact, God The Father has pronounced ‘Forgiven’ over us, and restored us to relationship with himself The Father, His Son and The Holy Spirit. We are now His Children. The cross of Jesus stands like a rock across lives, through which He brings us safely into His presence.
The Power of The Gospel: Belief, Repentance, Rest, and Rejoice: Bringing Praise and Honor to Our King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and glory to The Father.
This is a simplistic explanation, which we hope will give us all encouragement to take hold of The Fullness of The Power of The Gospel, and how it can Transform all of our lives.
God Bless.

Thanks to God Who accepted the offering of the Nazarene rabbi we can come under the grace of the ransom payment by Jesus Christ.
Let us recognise each of those Biblical characters for the role they play in our salvation.
