Faith in Action ‘Miscontrue’

miscontrue

Love has been so misconstrued, the word commitment doesn’t really get associated with it anymore. People fall in and out of love all the time. Love shouldn’t be about us, it should  always be about giving.

God so loved that He gave. John 3 verse 16: {NKJV}:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.

God gave, did He have to give? If we look at the situation for love from a human perspective, most people might have thought that the ‘fallen humanity’ that God gave His best for, wasn’t worth the effort.

But God did, He didn’t just look at the hoards of ‘fallen humanity, He looked at the individuals that made it up.Christianity is not mass acceptance of Christ, it is one’s individual choice to accept, but God always looks for the individual acceptance.

God so loved  that He gave, for you and me individually, to come into that great love, he has for any ‘whosoever’. Through the acceptance of God’s offer: Romans 8 verse 15: tells us:

“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear but you received the spirit of adoption by whom we cry out. ‘Abba Father’.”

We become embraced by His love. We receive, His Holy Spirit to reside in us, and are embraced in The Gift. which is in Christ Jesus. We have intimacy with The Father. We have so much love, yet many still miss the totality of what God has given.

Love and the word intimacy have been so misconstrued, that people easily shed the both, when there  is ‘nothing in it for me scenario’. But love and intimacy with God, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, isn’t something we should just sit in for free, it is a relationship we should live in.

The World would truly be turned To Christ, if we knew how much God, really loves us, and love us to much to leave us the way, we are easily satisfied with.

We are created for purpose, it is apart of His intimacy plan for all our lives. Jeremiah 29 verse 11;

God Bless.
