Faith In Action ‘Priorities’

What is the number one priority in our lives, that is a question that we could get many different responses to, from people. Most of their answers, would most likely be covered by, family, work, education, pleasure etc.

But what does Our Lord and Our Friend tell us should be our number one priority of all our lives, Matthew 6 verse 33;

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you”.

A priority for overcoming, James 4 verse 7 and 8:

V7: “Therefore submit to God. But resist the Devil, and he will flee from you”.

V8: “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you”.

A Priority about others: 1 Corinthians 10 verse 24:

“No one should seek his {or her} own good, but the good of the other person”.

We have new life in Christ Jesus, what are we told we should seek, Colossians 3 verse 1 and 2:

V1: “so if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is seated at the right hand of God”.

V2: “Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth”.

Become heavenly minded, because we have become Kingdom People, Hebrews 13 verse 14:

“For here we do not have an enduring city, instead, we seek the one to come”.

Our Lord and Our Friend has so much for our lives, as Kingdom People we should always be seeking after Him, not because of what He can do for us, but barbecue of Who He is.

We can never be righteous in ourselves, but we are allowed to put on His righteousness, and have right standing before the Throne of God.

Seeking His Kingdom, His Kingdom ways, His Kingdom principals, His kingdom purposes for our lives, our lives will always be added to. because He loves us so much.

As Kingdom People, lets have Kingdom seeking priorities, first, second, third and in everything we do.

God Bless.
