Sunday Encouragement

encourage

If this is your day for rest , like us all your still need encouragement, be encouraged today, by this following scripture verse, but don’t allow anything to be futile in your life, because we all have been created with a purpose

Ecclesiastes 1 verses 2 and 3:

V2: “Absolute futility,” says the teacher. “Absolute futility. Everything is futile.”
V3:”What does a man gain for all his efforts he labors at under the sun.”

In some translations this may be vanity. This is a cynical outlook by Solomon. All is futile, There is no hope.

Ecclesiastes is virtually the expression of somebody at wits end, and  on our journey through life we can all get to this point.

The rest of The Bible is very different, all the writer, the prophets, the Apostles and most importantly Our Lord and Our Friend, all offer a radically different vision of the future.

It is a good place to get to wits end, and to realize that we are not suppose to be on our own, we were all born for companionship. First and most importantly companionship with the God that created us.

We were all born to be loved, to know love, to grow in love and to give love. This loves comes from knowing your creator God {Our Lord and Our Friend} and walking through life in companionship with Him.

Our Lord and Our Friend offers us a radically different vision for the future than everything being futile. He never speaks of futility and meaningless life, but He gives all of us purpose, meaning, and the possibilities of new beginnings.

The new beginning come from acceptance, and our willingness to follow Our Lord and Our Friend, and untangle our lives from the past, into a new way of living. Kingdom living where he becomes all He is meant to be to us Our King, as well as Our Lord and Our Friend.

We might still get to wits end at times, but he is ever faithful and will not leave us there, because He has a great purpose, and a great destiny for all of us

Be Blessed Today And Everyday.
