Weekend Inspiration

For our weekend inspiration, again we like to thank our good friend of the ministry John H. So here is John H, article, which we are sure, will inspire us all.

Why did Jesus have to suffer such torture and then bleed and die a death of torture on that cross? Why didn’t the father just let Jesus be killed by the Romans with, say, a sword thrust? Well, Jesus had to pay the penalty for all our sins in full, to make a complete atonement for humanity’s sins – the pain, agony, torture of grief and sorrow, sickness and infirmities, the shame, condemnation, guilt, despair, hopelessness, the horror of humanity’s transgression and iniquities were heaped upon Him, so that the eyes of The Father and of heaven turned away from Him and He cried out, ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me”? No short cuts here.

The horrors of humanity’s sins had to be paid In Full for the gift of God’s grace to come into effect for us. Our salvation cost The Father everything, it cost our Lord Jesus everything, and it cost The Holy Spirit everything. We are infinitely and unconditionally loved by God.

Now, let fully embrace Ephesians 2 verse 4 to 10:

V4: “But God, Who is abundant in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,”

V5: Made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. By grace you were saved!”

V6: “He also raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavens, in Christ Jesus, “

V7: so that in the coming ages He might display the immeasurable riches of His grace in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

V8: “For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—”

“V9: “not of works, so that no one can boast.”

V10: “For we are His creations— created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them”.

It is also wonderful to read Ephesians Chapter 3, as well. the salvation of all of us Gentiles.

God has promised to preserve us, to keep us, so as to present us faultless before Him when He comes to take us with Him at the last day. We are kept by the power of God, not by our own power.

It was not the nails, that held Jesus to the cross, it was His Love, that through repentance and acceptance, any ‘whosoever’ could have new life in Him.
