Holding On To Truth

The Bible never argues that there is a God, everywhere it  asserts the fact.

The Bible presents a unified picture of god, mankind, sin, salvation, and every area of doctrine. In fact, wherever doctrinal topics are discussed in The Bible, such as creation, the nature of man, the way of Salvation, or the end of the world, the specific passage is always consistent with the whole.

The unity is specially seen in references to the Good News of Jesus Christ, since He is the One to Whom the entire Bible points, from Genesis 1 v1: to Revelation 22 verse 16:

The Old Testament is the preparation. Isaiah 40 verse 3: “Prepare the way of The Lord”. The Gospels, Matthew, Mark Luke and John, are the manifestation. The Book of Acts is the Propagation. Acts 1 verse 8. Revelation brings the completeness of it.

The Sovereignty of God starts in the opening verse of scripture Genesis 1 verse 1;  “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”.

The paramount concern is not to persuade us that God is but to tell us who God is and what He does. This is why the first thing we see Him do in the Scriptures is to act creatively, to show His might and Omnipotence.

This is the same God in John 3 verse 16 :”For God so loved the world in this way.”  This is to demonstrate His Love.

Gods’ love is displayed through out His Word, The Bible, just to give one more example:  Romans 5 v 6 to 8:

V6: “For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment, Christ died for the un-godly”.

V7: “For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die:.

V8: But God proves His own LOVE for us in while we were still sinners Christ Died for us”.

The God of The Bible is All-powerful, Omniscient {All Knowing}, Omnipresent {All Present}, Full in Justice and Mercy, and All Loving.

This Great and Powerful God, said “Let There be,” and it was created. The Great and Powerful God, Who so Loved that He sent His Son, to pay a price we could never pay. This is The kind of God can have my heart anytime. What about yours?

God Bless.
