faith In Action ‘Using Your Freedom For Good’

Scripture Verse

Using your freedom to serve others.

Galatians 5 verses 13 to 15 {Message Bible]

“It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows. For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. That’s an act of true freedom. If you bite and ravage each other, watch out – in no time at all you will be annihilating each other, and where will your precious freedom be then?”

Don’t use the freedom Our Lord and Our Friend has won for us, as an excuse to do whatever we want to do, which will eventually destroy the freedom given to us.

The world is under the bondage of sin, people might not agree, but most of the things people do is for self gratification, but everything we as believers do should be for the love and admiration of Our Lord and Our Friend.

One of the greatest motivating factors for people throughout the world today is the quest for freedom, for self determination. Wars are fought for it, Nations vote for it, and individuals strive for it.

In Romans 6 verse 16 to 20;  God’s Word teaches us that, that ultimately. no one is ever totally free. we either serve God in the freedom He gives us, or we serve and are slave of sin.

Be Blessed today, as we reflect the new freedom we have in Our Lord and Our Friend . It is a freedom you have to be a blessing to others. It is a freedom Our Lord and Our Friend paid a great price for us to have, use it for His glory today. Be a blessing to others.

God Bless.
