Growth earlier this week we spoke on Ethics. It is a great concept to build our Growth on.

Remember simply put Ethics is being good doing good.

Let us grow together in the Lord.

Colossians 2 verse 7 and 8 v7 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness

V8 Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy  and empty deceit based on human traditions, based on the elemental forces of the world, not based on Christ.

Let us get one thing straight, being called a Christian will not help you in anyway whatsoever. Christ Jesus on the other hand, will always help you in all your struggles to grow closer to Him.

Becoming a Christian is not about becoming religious. It is about a wonderful, exciting and intensely personal relationship with Christ Jesus. (Our Lord and Our Friend)

Once we understand it is through Him we grow, with His help, we will grow into the person He wants us to be.

The effects of being in a relationship with the Living Lord, is that over our journey of faith and time, your relationship with Him will reshape you into someone who lives and thinks in a more Christ like way.

Ephesians 1 verse 15 to 19 Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Insight.

v 15 This is why since i heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. v 16 I never stop giving thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers. V17 I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Glorious Father, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. V18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints, V19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of His Power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength.

Everything you need to grow in Him

Finally If you were on trial for being a Christian (follower of Christ Jesus) would there be enough evidence to convict you.
