Paradigms

I would like to start by telling a story that will make it easier to understand a paradigm. Don’t worry I haven’t lost my christian perspective!

There was a young man in a hotted up car, driving along a country road, enjoying himself. He goes around a corner and a young lady driving the other way swerves sharply in his direction and yells “Pig!”

The young man immediately takes offense and yells back abuse, thinking she was calling him a pig. Mumbling angrily to himself, about 50 meters around the corner he hits a pig.

Paradigms are mindsets. The way he reacted was a mindset, people yelling at him would result in them being yelling back at. Little was it in his thought pattern that maybe someone yelling could be trying to tell me something important.

Paradigms (mindsets) are something that could truly be stopping all of us from knowing Our Lord more.

Ecclesiastes 1 verse 13 “I apply my mind to seek and explore through wisdom all that is done under heaven.”

Romans 12 verse 2 “Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is good, pleasing and perfect will of God.”

Don’t conform your mindsets to the world, there is a lot God wants to teach us that the world cannot understand.

Allow God to change your mindset so you can apply your mind to seek and explore through His wisdom.

Colossians 3 verse 2 “Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth.”

Remember the Lords Prayer. “Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

Understand how God’s Kingdom operates in heaven then we will understand the verse and know how God wants us to operate on earth. We are His hands and feet.

Hebrews 6 verse 10 “I will put my laws into their minds, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God. This is the new covenant.”

1 Corinthians 2 verses 14 – 16  “But the natural man does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him, he is not able to know it since it is evaluated spiritually. The spiritual person, however can evaluate, everything yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone. For who has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct him?”

But we have the mind of Christ.

The mindset we all should have is best explained by.

Matthew 19 verse 26 “But Jesus looked at them and said “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Jesus was speaking about getting into heaven, so with man’s thinking getting into heaven is impossible, but through what Jesus did ALL things become possible.

It’s a new and living way of walking with God, and He wants to walk with you in it. God bless
