Psalm 42 Verse 1 and 2:

V1: “As a deer long for streams of water so I long for You, God.”

V2: “I thirst for God, the living God. When can I come and appear before God?”

The psalmist intense long for God serves as a model for all believers. If we genuinely Love God will find a way.

Finding a time and place may be difficult in our fast-paced world, but the heart that longs for God will make time for Our Lord and Our Friend.

Hebrews 4 Verse 16: “Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we mat receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.” {some translations say ‘in our time of need’}

Proper time should be anytime.

Long for God, long to thank Him for the privilege of our God giving the way to come.

Long for God in hard times and allow him to encourage us in that time of need.

Long for God as God longs for us. He did not spare His own Son.

Romans 8 Verse 32: “He did not even spare His own Son, but offered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him grant us everything”.

Experience for yourself, the love that Our Lord and Our Friend has for us and our lives will be changed for longing for Him more and more.

He has not moved, maybe our thinking should be moving with a deeper longing for Him.
