Transformation

One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible is Jeremiah 29 Verse 11:

“For I know the plans I have for you’—this is the Lord’s declaration —” plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”.

Many people would find that hard to believe but to people of faith, faith in their God is the source of strength.

The Joy of the Lord is our strength. Nehemiah 8 Verse 10:

“Then he said to them ‘Go and eat what is rich. Drink what is sweet and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because your strength comes from, rejoicing in the Lord”.

Source of our strength for everything is the Lord, that is why we call Him Our Lord and Our Friend.

Sometimes it feels that the ‘odds are stacked against us. Our Lord and Our Friend can do things easily or even achieve things from impossible circumstances.

God loves the difficult:

Isn’t that why He removed 9700 men from Gideons army.

Isn’t it why He let the furnace be heated 7 times hotter.

Isn’t it why he didn’t show up until Lazarus was four-day dead.

Our God is the God of the impossible; Matthew 19 verse 26:

“But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible’.”

What seems impossible to us is never impossible to Our Lord and Our Friend.

Commune, converse and sing to our God and be refreshed in the strength He has for our plans for our lives, which are for our good and not for harm.

God Bless
