Transformation Continuing

Transformation Continuing

Find out about Luke in his writings in The Gospel of Luke and The Book of Acts. The Story of Luke as a person gives us all hope. Luke is a most vigorous champion of the outsider. An outsider himself, the only Gentile of New Testament writers.

Luke shows how our Lord and Our Friend includes those who were typically treated as outsiders by the religious establishment of the day: women, common, labourers, Samaritans and the poor. Our Lord and Our friend will not countenance religion as a club.

As Luke tells the story, all of us who have found ourselves on the outside looking in on life with no hope of gaining entrance, now find the doors wide open, to be welcomed by Our Lord and Our Friend Himself.

When we look at Luke’s strengths. He was a qualified man, who was well educated and a trained physician

Despite his qualification, Luke was a humble and very helpful companion to the Apostle Paul. His used his skill to be a careful and exact historian.

Luke is an example for us all in what he so humbly achieved.

We can learn that the words we leave behind will be a lasting impression of who we are. We all need the companionship of others in the faith. Our work should be a reflection of our calling and a reflection of Our Lord and Our Friend.

Further references to Luke in the writings of Paul: Colossians 4 verse 14; 2 Timothy 4 verse 11; Philemon 1 verse 24.

We can learn much from great people of faith of which Luke was sure one.

Luke is an outstanding testimony of a life transformed by the Good News of the Word Who became Flesh, to give us all a transformed life if we accept Him as Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.

So, this Christmas time, if you don’t know Jesus as the Christ, read the Gospel of Luke and find the transformation, that transform Luke life, to write so much about Him.

God Bless.
