Dealing With Difficulties ‘Being Ourselves’

Being Ourselves

Genesis 1 verse 26: “Let Us make man in Our Image, according to Our likeness”.

We are all created in the Image of God. Our Lord and Friend Jesus Christ, was born on earth, crucified and rose again so that we could choose to have a restored relationship with Father God, and fulfill the destiny He created us for. “Now this is eternal life; that they may know You (supreme and sovereign ) God, and (in the same manner know) Jesus (as the) Christ Whom You have sent” John 17 verse 3 amplified bible.

Matthew 5 verse 48: {Message Bible} “Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously towards others, the way God lives towards you”.

We were all created with different gifts and talents, but some are trying to be like someone else; live for someone else or live like everybody else. Our Lord and Our Friend created you to be different; created you to be you. Created you with purpose and destiny, that only you can achieve. Psalm 33:15 “He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works” . How marvellous! He fashions our hearts individually.

Romans 12 verse 5 {Message Bible}: “So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvellously functioning part in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t”.

2 Corinthians 10 verse 18: {Message Bible} “What you say about yourself means nothing in God’s work. It’s what God says about you that makes the difference”.

Let’s start seeing our self as Our Lord and Our Friend sees us, and if we live that way, the world will see Him too.

Galatians 2 verse 20: {Message Bible} “I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have a good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not ‘mine’, but it is lived by faith in The Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me”.

God Bless.
