The Goodness of His calling, He is always faithful.

2 Peter 1 Verse 3: “For His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by His glory and goodness.”

Our Lord and Our Friend doesn’t often send us into situations where our comfort level is high.

Psalm 23 sum it up very well V1: “The Lord is my Shepard, there is nothing I lack. V2, He lets me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quite waters.”

And His promise is that He will always be with us, in spite of our fears. He also tells us His grace is sufficient for us.

It is Our Lord and Our Friend’s presence, not comfortable circumstances that strengthens our faith and bring out the best in us.

Many examples from His Word talks about this:

God told Joshua to go despite what others thought. Joshua led the people into the promise land and God Himself went with them.

With God help Elijah faced the prophets of Baal with confidence and peace because God was with him.

Daniel faced the lions in the den, and God was always there in the midst of any fears.

God ask us to go in faith, and He will equip us in our faith, His grace is always sufficient

We hope this may help somebody who believes God is calling them, but maybe fear is getting in the way. God calls, God equips and God Helps, and His promise is He will never leave us or forsake us.
