Jesus liken Himself to bread. John 6 verse 35;

Bread could be identified as basic food, but He referring to much more than that, the manna that came down from Heaven. He is the bread that sustains us and gives us life.

The scripture verse yesterday was ‘The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all’, that Grace is also our sustenance. He is all we need.

2 Corinthians 12 verse 9: tells us; “My Grace is sufficient for you”; He is The grace of God, He is all we need. Grace is often referred to As God’s mercy at Christ expense.

If we go to a shop and buy bread we pay a price, for that bread to become apart of our sustenance. In God, Jesus paid the price to become our sustenance.

In communion we are to remember that His blood was shed for us, and His body was broken, so that we might live, because of what He did for us.

Matthew 4 verse 4: “Man must not live on bread alone but on every Word that comes from the mouth of God”.

We must not just be satisfied with the sustenance from the world, we are to get our real nourishment out of The Word, Jesus is also the Word of God {John 1 verse 1}. We need to take our sustenance and nourishment from All He is to us. He is The Bread {sustenance} of His followers lives.
