Sunday Encouragement

If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged today by this wonderful scripture from 2 Timothy 2 Verse 1:

2 Timothy 2 verse 1:

“You, therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”

Be strong in Grace, Grace has been said to be, God’s undeserved favor at Christ Expense. Our Lord and Our Friend paid a price for our sins we could never pay. Be strong in that undeserved favor, because through it we have been set free, from the power of sin, that would hold us back.

The Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 12 verse 9: {Amplified Bible}:

“But He said to me, My grace —My favor and loving-kindness and mercy — are enough for you, [that is, sufficient against any danger and to enable you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect — fulfilled and completed and show themselves most effective — in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weakness and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ, the Messiah, may rest — yes, may pitch a tent [over] and dwell upon me!”

It was Paul telling Timothy to be strong in grace, because Paul understood what it meant to be strong in grace.  We must all comprehend what Paul knew and meant about grace, so we to can be strong in it.

Be strong in Grace, for it is Our Lord Our Redeemer and Our Friend’s, favor and loving-kindness and mercy to us. Mercy we have been forgiven and will be forgiven when we take our wrong-doing {that go against the reason He created us} to Him.

Another reason we can be strong in Grace is: Romans 8 verse 1: tells us, we are in Christ, and there is no condemnation for those In Christ. So we can see that the strength and the power of Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend, has pitch His tent over us, and we dwell in Him.

Be strong in grace, be strong in the dependence, that His Grace is all we need. We are sufficient IN Him, The original ‘Greek’ word for ‘In” in Romans 8 verse 1: meant enveloped in Him, so we can easily see He has placed a tent and His covering over us.

Be strong in grace, let ourselves just not only know His word, but be enveloped In IT.
