The entertainment ‘mind set, even people’s day to day living is becoming entertainment. Our Christian walk, is not suppose to be for entertainment, it is a walk committed to a purpose, walking a witness fit for Our King.

We can’t all be stars on a stage, or what is perceived as stars by this entertainment mind set. We are not all called to preach from a pulpit, lead music, or be in the band, in the front and center of a church service. But we are all called to walk in the likeness of Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend.

Even in the entertainment industry, there is more back stage work, to get the people on the stage. Mindsets are problems at the best of times. Mindset are holds on our thinking, but John 8 verse 32;

“You will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free”.

Christianity is not a mindset, it is Truth to walk in, Truth to live in, and Truth to go about our work in. It doesn’t lift us  to a star seeking role, it lifts us, to a new humility, which is a bridled strength, of understanding the newness of life we walk in.

We become people of a different Kingdom, where Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend is King. Where we are to serve and work for the Glory of His Kingdom, in any opacity, He calls us to. We might not be called to the pulpit, but we are all called to minister out of the Love, He has bestowed on us, which is available to all who accept.

There are many people in scripture who just went about doing their best for the Kingdom of God, and never got many accolades. A lady mentioned in the New Testament named Dorcas, Acts 9 verses 36 to 41;

Dorcas was a Follower in Joppa of Judea, noted for her  acts of charity.

Dorcas’ notoriety came from that she was raised from the dead, by the Power of The Holy Spirit operating through the Apostle Peter.

Another was Demetrius, 3 John 1 verse 12:

Demetrius was a Christian believer whom the Apostle John commended, He supported John’s ministry.

These are not just random people mentioned in the Bible, these are committed followers of Jesus Christ. contented in doing their best, for His Kingdom.

Random followers of Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend, we might be that to this world’s way of thinking, but to our King, He knows everything about us. Matthew 10 verse 30 and 31:

V30 “But even the hairs of your head have been counted. V31: Don’t be afraid therefore; you are worth more than many sparrows”.

It not about us getting our name in lights, it is about us Bringing Glory to His Kingdom, and in this world, we will not get many accolades for that.
