If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement, be encouraged today, by this wonderful verse from Proverbs 16 verse 9:

Proverbs 16 verse 9: “A man’s {woman’s} heart plans his [her} way, but The Lord determines his {her] steps”.

Driving around on the streets, we will get to see, many street signs, such as stop, give way, u turns allowed, and the many speed limit signs, and in Australia could be anything from 20 to 110 kilometers an hour, plus the traffic lights.

When we set out on a trip, we never really think much about them, probably the only things on our minds are route and destination. Well it is not generally like that in life, most people just take off on their journeys through life, with no obvious direction or destination.

When we become a follower of Our Lord and Our Savior and Our Friend, if we listen to the guidance of The Holy Spirit, He chooses our route, and guarantees our final destination. By listening to Him, we will learn all the valuable lesson in life, He will be our guidepost, through our journey through life.

Jeremiah 29 verse 11: tells us: “For I know the plans I have for you” This is The Lord’s declaration, ‘plans for your welfare, not disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Our Lord and Our Friend’s has plans for each one of our life. The first part of today’s scripture verse, ”ones heart plans one’s ways, best quote to follow that would be, ‘The best laid plans of mice and men’, they always come unstuck.

But as a follower Of Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend, He determines our steps, into the plans He has for each one of us, which are for our best, and not our ruin, to give us a purpose, a hope, a future and an eternal destiny with Him.

John 15 verse 5: For without Him, we can do nothing, that has eternal destiny.
