Through the Assurance of our Salvation, we can be totally confident our repented sins are forgiven, and our status as sons and daughters of Almighty God.

The assurance and the status give us confidence, of what really controls our actions. 1 John 4 verse 17 and 18; {Message Bible} States;

“God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgement day–our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. there is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgement–is one not fully formed in love”.

Truth of the statement is ‘Perfect Love casts out fear’ Perfect love is in us and we are enclothed in Perfect love. Romans 8 verse 1: States:

“Therefore, no condemnation now exists for those IN Christ Jesus”  God is love and we are enclothed IN HIM.

Fear can not hold us back, because it has been cast out of our lives, because we are enclothed IN Our Lord and Our Friend.

in ! John: The Apostle John sets up a striking contrast between two states of mind, one being afraid and the other being loved. He is stating Christians should not be afraid. Christians are to know that they are dearly Loved and eternally Loved by Abba Father.

We are more and more called to live in the assurance of God’s Love, and not in terrible condition of fear. It is out of this enclothment of Love, our action should come. For we have nothing to fear.

We are enclothed In Christ Jesus, enclothed In love that has conquered fear.
