Romans 12 verse 2:
“Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing and perfect will of God.”
When we come to Christ, a change begins in our minds and our thinking. Everything about us has become new. Even our personalities are transformed by the renewing of our minds.
Philippians 3 Verse 10: “My Goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His suffering, being conformed to His death.”
Might seem a little hard conformed to His death, but it is explained by GOD SO LOVE, conformed to the {Love} task at hand, Our Lord and Our Friend died for us, that we can have New Life, through what He has done So let us conform to our Love Task at hand. not be conformed to the spirit of this age, but be transformed to His plans for our lives, by dying to self, and living more for Him. Jeremiah 29 Verse 11.
Every temptation comes to us via our thoughts, and it is in our mind that the battle ground of our soul is being fought. The pure thoughts of Christ, clashing with the worldly temptations of sin each vying for you to be transformed into it’s image. We are being transformed into Christ, into His likeness, but there is temptation to fall back into a life of unrepentant sin.
Want to find the best place to start renewing your mind? ‘For God so loved‘ {John 3 verse 16} would be a great place to start, bathe it in the reflective thought God so loves You, yes You. that’s right loves You. Our Lord and Our Friend went to the cross to prove His love for us.
With this thought transformation of our minds takes on a new more valued approach because we are valued. There was a price paid for us. Let us lay down our lives being conformed to His death, because the transformation that comes with that is really life changing.
Be renewed and be blessed today and everyday.
