Take Hold

When we take hold of the Words of Our Lord, we will always better for them.

But at no time do we find Jesus hesitating to do something or say something because of what others might think. That is why we find him mixing with people and going places He should not have gone according to religious people of that period. But for those He came across when he crossed these kinds of barriers, His attitude was the kindest thing they had ever experienced.

While Jesus was kind and caring towards people, he always knew what people were really like, and he would never excuse their behavior.

Jesus’ insight did not lead Him to point-out the failure of people or their wrong doings {sin}. He did that very rarely. He knew that most people realized their failing without being told. He also knew they needed help in overcoming the things that held their lives back from reaching their potential.

One of the most striking aspects of Jesus, is how he welcomed those that society saw as outcasts, whether spiritual or cultural. Even the most marginalized in society.

Let us not just give a cursory glance to the Words Our Lord has said, let them all be a learning curve for all of us, so we can be transformed to be more like Him every day.

We are all sinners but once we accept Him, we are saved by His grace. New life in Him is available to us, and He is there to help us. Let us all be more open and compassionate, because after all we are created in His image.

Colossians 3 Verses 10 and 11:

Verse 10: “And have put on new man, who is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the creator”.

Verse 11: “Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and un-circumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free, but Christ is all and in all”.

Galatians 2 Verse 29: “And I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God. who loves me and gave Himself for me”.

God Bless.
